1. Кто (хотеть) говорить по-русски? 2. Мы (хотеть) говорить по-русски. 3. Он (хотеть) писать по-французски. 4. Ты (хотеть) читать по-английски? 5. Нет, я не (хотеть) читать по-английски. 6. Кто уже хорошо (говорить) и (писать) по-испански? 7. Иван и Вера уже хорошо (говорить) и (писать) по-испански. 8. Господин Жуков, ваш брат и ваша сестра (понимать) по-французски? 9. Они очень хорошо (понимать) и по-французски и по-испански, но они всегда (хотеть) говорить по-русски. 10. Они уже (писать) по-русски.

Omit the words in parentheses and include those in brackets.
1. He wants to speak French, but she does not [want]. 2. They want to write Russian well. 3. Please repeat my question again. 4. What is your wife writing today? 5. My wife and citizen Zhukov are writing the lesson. 6. He is a Russian and speaks Russian very well. 7. She is English [an Englishwoman], but she understands Spanish and French. 8. Hello, Mr. Novikov. Are you a Russian? 9. No, I am an Englishman. 10. My wife is an American, but she wants to speak Russian. 11. Your professor is a Russian, and mine is an American. 12. Give me [мне] the chalk, please, citizen Zhukov. 13. Read the lesson, Mrs. Smith. 14. Repeat the lesson. 15. I have a question. What is the Russian for [how in Russian]: “They are home already”?
