EFL English Grammar Practice, 200 Phrasal Verbs and Idiomatic Expressions, Jenkins A., 2021.

As well as revising all the main grammar structures and tenses, used throughout the book, you will also become familiar with over 200 phrasal verbs and idioms in context used on a daily basis by native speakers around the globe. Idiomatic language can be somewhat baffling for EFL students when they come across phrases that do not seem to make sense when translated word for word. Context is important in determining the meaning. This book deals with a variety of phrasal verbs, which have a variety of meanings. In this book you will see one meaning of each of the phrasal verbs according to the context it is used in. Idioms, on the other hand, usually have just the one meaning. As you progress in your studies, idioms will become clearer when seen in context. The other words in each sentence, or utterance, should be enough to make you understand such expressions.
