New Headway Intermediate Pronunciation Course is a practical and imaginative addition to the New Headway English Course. Its aim is to help students to express themselves both clearly and confidently, by training them in the key areas of pronunciation, in particular the production of individual sounds, word and sentence stress and intonation.
The course, with its accompanying cassette, is suitable for self-study as well as for classroom use. Although it recycles the language and topics of New Headway intermediate Student's Book, it is also suitable for intermediate students following any course who wish to improve their pronunciation.
Sarah Cunningham and Bill Bowler are experienced teachers and teacher trainers and have worked with both monolingual and multilingual classes in a wide variety of countries.
